I have been a cat lover since I was a little girl. Most recently I had two male Himalayan cats for over 20 years and losing them both to old age within six months of each other. I was devastated and lonely.

So after much research, I decided to try a fairly new breed: Ragdoll. I purchased a male that I have now had for three years. 

I know some breeders suggest getting two at a time, but being a senior age, I really didn’t want to have two cats again. I’ve now had that cat for three years and he has been acting out like a spoiled child. He has plenty of interactive toys and space, but he continues to scratch my furniture,even with his scratching posts nearby . He has even bitten me a few times where I have had to go to urgent care for anabiotic’s, and if it wasn’t on my hand, I would’ve gotten stitches, but the skin was too thin to sew.

After consulting with a few breeders and vets, I found hope and maybe getting a second kitty to befriend my three year old.  I began looking for a special color pattern, and I was referred to Dallas ragdoll Ranch. Kimberly was so knowledgeable and friendly that I felt perfectly comfortable putting a deposit on a kitten I hadn’t seen. Kimberly was very good at keeping in touch for the 12 weeks before the kitten was ready to adopt and she sent several photos regularly.

I recently purchased/adopted this 12 week old male ragdoll kitten from Kimberly at Dallas Ragdoll  Ranch. She was very knowledgeable about his hereditary line and all of the paperwork required. It was a very smooth transaction. I did have concerns about introducing this kitten to my three year old male and hoped he wouldn’t be too much of a problem. I have never been so thrilled with a purchase as I have been with this kitten. It is evident he grew up in a friendly atmosphere, as he is afraid of nothing and no ones. (my older one hides, if the doorbell rings, and if someone walks in the door, it goes under the coffee table). I had people in for Christmas and he was so adaptable to everything and everyone! I have never seen a kitten quite as outgoing and well behaved. and I’ve had several in my lifetime . He knows “no”. I am now sending photos to her of this kitten. I must admit I was nervous about putting this little kitty in with my three year old male, but he has been a true blessing. My older cat is no longer scratching, furniture or demanding my attention. He is well entertained with his new friend. I just keep watching to be sure he doesn’t get too rough in the playing. This was the perfect answer to his anxiety and mine. "Kimberly is amazing!  I've been researching Ragdoll breeders for quite some time and really got lucky with Ragdoll Ranch of Dallas. My main priority in finding the right breeder was they prioritized the health and wellbeing of the animals. Ragdoll Ranch was exactly that and more!  You can tell right away Kimberly is extremely passionate about the breed and thorough with her selection process. She kept in constant contact with me through the whole process, sending pictures, updates with Vets appointments and even after when I had questions. I don’t recall how I found Ragdoll Ranch of Dallas, but I knew from my first conversation with Kimberly that I had found my Ragdoll “Frank Sinatra.”

I had hit several road blocks with scammers but Kimberly had an air of knowledge and honesty that I recognized instantly. 

She made the process so easy with her knowledge of the breed. She was always and is still available to answer any questions that I may have. I loved getting updated with pictures and videos so I could watch my Frankie grow into the well adjusted ragdoll that he is. He is everything that I read a ragdoll should be. He is Gorgeous and is the best companion for my 50 pound standard poodle. 

I highly recommend this breeder. You don’t need to look further, you have found your breeder.

Using Ragdoll Ranch made the process of adopting my dear Charlie Brown so simple! Kimberly was always very quick to answer any questions and let me Facetime and see Charlie before adopting him since I was coming from far away. She sent me so many videos and pictures while we were waiting for the adoption date. On adoption day she provided so many documents from their prior doctor's visits and genetic tests from Charlie's parents. Charlie Brown has been such a blessing and is such a fun-loving, funny, beautiful cat! He is the most friendly cat I have ever met and adjusted to the move so easily. I couldn't be happier and will 100% be using Ragdoll Ranch again in the future!

As I sit here typing this with my new “helper” in my lap, I am incredibly grateful for my experience with Ragdoll Ranch of Dallas and my beautiful baby, Tinsel, who came home to join our family mid-December.  When I went in search of my next furbaby, I knew exactly what I was looking for and the Ragdoll checked all the boxes. From there, the challenge became finding a safe and reputable breeder when there are so many scams these days.  Kimberly immediately put me at ease with her willingness to respond to my questions and knowledge of the breed. She made time to listen to my concerns and we were able to discuss the general temperament I was looking for in my new kitten so that she would be comfortable and happy in our slightly busy household of other kitties and dogs. Kimberly was able to give me each kitten’s personality based on what my home needed and let me know as soon as I was able to place a hold on my selected girl.  From there, I received so many updates on how she was doing, and I never once felt worried about being “ghosted” or forgotten despite how busy I’m sure she must be! Kimberly’s communication is open, honest, and quick! I can reach out with questions any time and she immediately gets back to me. 

When picking up and bringing Tinsel home, much to my absolute delight, Kimberly’s beautiful kitties immediately greeted me. I especially fell in love with Higgins, my very first greeter at the door. It was clear how much time, love, and effort went into raising Tinsel’s litter. Not only did I get to bring home the sweetest and possibly cleanest cotton ball of a kitten ever, but Kimberly sent home the extensive health testing for genetic issues on her adults, and she also included both pedigrees for my baby girl’s parents. 

Tinsel has made herself at home from the start and her bravery continues to impress me. Stranger coming in? No problem. Brand new cats and large (cat-friendly) shepherds? How fun! Most surprisingly, the vacuum is a toy? This little girl walked in stating it should be well known to everyone… the house is her playground. Her antics keep us all laughing and her sweetness steals everyone’s hearts. True to her breed, pick her up for a snuggle and she becomes your new purring rag. All in all, a beautiful, happy, and well-socialized kitten.  I couldn’t have asked for a better breeder and experience than I had with Kimberly and Ragdoll Ranch of Dallas.

“Working with Ragdoll Ranch of Dallas was so easy when we decided to bring a new member into our home. Kimberly (and Scott) were so friendly, helpful, caring, and available to answer any and all questions. You can tell they love their kittens and wanted to find the best match for each one. We were lucky enough to get a handsome blue bicolor male (Woodstock from the Peanuts litter). I was able to FaceTime with them to meet Woodstock since I was not local & could tell his personality would be a great fit for our family. Woodstock is healthy, laid back, and is a purring machine. He has been the perfect addition to our home. He has been well socialized by Kimberly & Scott and loves people and other pets. He took immediately to our 100 lb. Great Pyrenees & enjoys playing with his older cat brother. We recently adopted 2 precious and perfect Kittens from Ragdoll Ranch of Dallas! They are incredible little bundles of love, and I can tell that they were nurtured and taken care of so well as Kittens. Throughout the entire adoption process, we were sent photos and videos, and everything was so clearly communicated. I would so highly recommend Ragdoll Ranch of Dallas! They truly are a family that loves their cats and cares for them as members of their family. I cannot imagine a more positive experience or a better place to adopt a Ragdoll! My search for a Ragdoll began back in 2020. My wife ended up getting a Boston Terrier puppy, so I put my search on hold. By 2023, I felt that Bella was old enough and calmed enough to now get my kittens.
I comprised a list from the TICA & the CFA websites of all of the Ragdoll breeders in TX. I visited all of the listed breeders’ websites searching for particular colors.
I was actually communicating with another breeder when Kimberly responded to my inquiry on her site. After speaking with her and seeing pics of her kittens, I chose to go forward with Ragdoll Ranch of Dallas. I acquired kittens from the “Peanuts gang”, Linus and Snoopie.
I have to say that I’ve enjoyed the relationship that I built with Kimberly as much as the kittens. She is so loving to all her little babies. She allowed me to meet them beforehand. She answered all of my questions, ALL of them!
The kittens were beautiful and healthy. I still keep in touch with Kimberly, because sometimes I still have questions and she always replies. And she still enjoys receiving pictures and videos. She loved those babies.
