My name is Kimberly, and I love Ragdolls! Actually, I love all animals, but cats are my passion. My goal is to educate and share this wonderful breed to other enthusiastic cat lovers. We are a TICA registered home based cattery, and our Kings and Queens are pedigreed, tested, and free from genetic disorder.
Our Kings and Queens are genetically tested for the PKD and HCM traits that are found in Ragdolls along with many other genetic disorders found in different purebreds. I am happy to provide the genetic test results upon request. When you know which kitten you would like to add to your family, we require a non-refundable $400 holding fee for the kitten you choose. This holding fee goes towards the total price of the kitten. Your kitten will be at least 13 weeks old before leaving Ragdoll Ranch and could be older depending on his or her development. Your kitten will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and will have 2 sets of vaccines. Your kitten will have also been dewormed and have had a recent health check before they join your family. We do offer a $200 discount if you buy 2 of our kittens because we know how social Ragdolls are, and they love having a fur buddy around. We also have a health warranty which I will email and go over with you before you pay the holding fee. We take great pride in our kittens at Ragdoll Ranch, and work very hard to train them to be comfortable with household noises and allow them to safely roam freely at an appropriate age. If interested please fill out the contact information below. We reserve the right to deny purchase of our kittens for any reason.
Please reach us at kimberly@ragdollranchofdallas.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Yes, Ragdolls do shed. Their fur is a light floof and not a heavy short-hair kind of shedding. They do not have an undercoat, making the shed more bearable. With daily brushing their fur coat is very manageable! Brushing their luxurious fur is a treat for both you and your baby!
This is completely up to the cat. Ragdolls are known to be loving and sweet but each cat is different. The stronger the bond, the more snuggles you will get. Each of my Ragdolls have their own personality but they are all very attached to us and will follow us everywhere. They wait for us at the door when we leave and are ready for loving when we come home. They play fetch, love to chase, play hide and seek with us, and are ready for nighttime snuggles at 8:00pm sharp. Your new Ragdoll will train you to take care of their every need - Lol! Our kittens are raised in our home and are very used to snuggles and kisses and other cats. We do not cage our cats!
Ragdolls are very sociable cats! They do not like to be alone for the most part. I would recommend getting 2 kittens together if there are no other animals in the home. If you do have animals already a proper introduction over time is a must! These cats get along with other cats and dogs if introduced properly. They will get lonely if left to themselves all day so please make sure your new kitty has companionship.
